It is still the preferred method of the Church, no priest is supposed to deny you communion on the tongue while kneeling.

I completely agree Christina, I was initially afraid to kneel and receive on my tongue, worried what people would say or think. Now I that is the only way I receive. It saddens and pains me when I see people not receiving reverently. I don't blame the people, most are just completely ignorant of who it is they are receiving.
