Today we begin a new series. Fr. Spirago wrote the classic Exhaustive Explanation of the Catechism about 150 years ago. It remains a classic that, in my opinion, is more understandable and approachable than the modern Catechism of the Catholic Church. I have found his work to be one of the most enriching books I have ever read. We are just going to take a two pages a t a time and thoroughly discuss each topic. And, of course, several other topics come up. Today, it was archeological evidence for the Bible and the Church and "predestination."
