Yes, the world does seem especially bleak at this moment in time. We all have had struggles, that much is evident to anyone who has ever read a book, all the way back to the start of recorded information and beyond it would seem. What is important is that we have some anchor to hold so as not to be washed away by the tsunami of ridiculousness. This is the Devil's playground and he has been given free reign, by human action and motivation to get ahead no matter the cost. That's the unfortunate side of this human plane of existence. The bright side is Jesus, and his blueprint upon our souls to love one another and show grace and mercy. With these things in mind we only need to seek out others who share this philosophy and band together, as there truly is strength in numbers. May God abundantly bless you and yours! Kathleen

Hi Jenny, It was nice to see a post from you again. I really enjoyed reading it.

I think also it goes back to being greatful for whatever some is sharing with you. Back then it could be a real burden for some to feed a guest. If they offer up something as it may mean them not having a meal later that day or maybe even the next, you should be thankful and gracious.

God says he is the ultimate leader, that is good enough for me. As for the leaders of this world, it is not that we deserve their misguided (trying to be nice) or wicked ways of leadership but that they are inspired by the wrong (wicked) leadership and will eventually be given what they deserve.

Then I say we start praying our hearts out for leaders who care about morals, values, liberty, and ethics over profit, notariety, pride and power!

This is a very important topic and needs to be combatted at every level until the schools remember that without our children their doors would closes i.e. they work for us and the benefit of the children not their own agendas.

That is a difficult thing to keep in mind but I agree is so necessary. The praying for souls who are manevolent, angry, hurtful, argumentative for the sake of it, etc. There was a woman in my life that I was helpless to extricate myself from who caused me great stress, anxiety and sometimes grief. I used to rail against her and the issues she caused in my life. Mostly because I was looking for a solution to my problem but also because I was hurt and felt alienated until one day I was given the advice to pray for her. I thought that's absurd! Why would I want someone who is hurting me (seemingly intentionally) to get favors. Then it occurred to me that she may need the graces more than I did and isn't that what Jesus wants me to do anyway? To love my enemy?
