After completing my first Marian Consecration last year, I have been compelled to kneel and receive Holy Communion on the tongue. Thankfully, I am blessed with a priest who encourages it. When visiting other churches and not confident that it will be allowed, I always bow, hold my hand like a throne (left hand under the right in the shape of a cross), and consume from my palms without ever touching with my fingers. If you have been following my blogs and enjoyed reading “Sewing peace in the garden”, here is an update for all those interested in knowing how the garden is looking now that Spring has sprung in Australia. There have been so many wonderful surprises, including masses of Hyacinths bluebells, as we expected. Although I was quite devastated with the number of bulbs that were unearthed and lost in the clean-up, I am very happy to report that many did survive! Some of the roses we thought were removed have also returned - to my husband's dismay and my delight! As long as I keep them from getting out of hand and damaging the fence, they can stay. If you missed my original blog, you can view it here. Enjoy the photos! If you can help me out with some of the name of the bulbs, I’d greatly appreciate it, too!

A recent article in the Atlantic likened the Rosary to ‘Rad-Trad‘ extremism. There is no doubt that we are in a spiritual war and the true weapon of battle is now under spotlight and being directly targeted.
