This week, our Lightbearers learn from St. Margaret of Cortona. She teaches us how to listen
to Jesus with a humble, open heart — to let His voice lead us back to Him in love and honesty.

Monday Activity – The Quiet Heart
Children are introduced to St. Margaret of Cortona and how she learned to truly listen to Jesus when He called
her back to His Heart.
Tuesday Activity – Jesus Speaks to My Heart
We talk about quieting our hearts. Kids practice making space to hear Jesus — even in busy or noisy moments.
Wednesday Activity – Listening in Action
We learn that Jesus speaks forgiveness and healing. Children imagine Jesus talking to them with gentleness, not anger.
Thursday Activity – The Path Back to Jesus
St. Margaret’s heart changed when she listened to Jesus. Kids explore what it means to let Jesus guide our choices.
Friday Activity – My Heart Rejoices in Jesus
We end the week thanking Jesus for always calling us back, and for speaking peace to our hearts.
Week 2 — St. Germaine Cousin • Jesus Speaks in the Quiet
This week, our Lightbearers learn from St. Germaine Cousin. She was poor, often alone, and
sometimes treated unkindly — but she stayed close to Jesus. St. Germaine teaches us that Jesus is with us,
speaks to us, and loves us even when we feel small or forgotten.

Week 3 — St. Joseph • Listening and Obeying
This week, our Lightbearers learn from St. Joseph. St. Joseph listened to God in silence,
trusted Him, and acted with courage — protecting Mary and Jesus with a loving, steady heart. He shows us that
real listening means doing what God asks with love.

We end the week by thanking God for our families and for the people who take care of us, just like St. Joseph
cared for Jesus.
Week 4 — St. Zita • Serving with Joy
This week, our Lightbearers learn from St. Zita. Though she worked as a humble servant,
she served everyone with love and joy, seeing Jesus in every task. St. Zita reminds us that even the smallest
things done with love can make Jesus smile.
